Painter James Collar leads a workshop to create an acrylic seascape painting inspired by the crashing waves of Jeju Island.
This session draws influence from the landscapes and narratives connected to Jane Jin Kaisen's ancestral ties to Jeju Island that is showcased in her ongoing solo exhibition, ‘Halmang.'
We invite participants to explore a variety of methods and techniques to capture the essence of water, waves and currents using acrylic paints. Utilising the skills taught to embrace their creativity and craft a unique seascape painting.
No prior experience necessary and all materials are provided during the session, alongside light refreshments.
Tickets for this event are free, but spots are limited, so be sure to secure your place by booking in advance.
