esea contemporary is located in the vibrant Northern Quarter of Manchester's city centre, offering RIBA award-winning spaces that are well-equipped and fully accessible to accommodate various functions and events.

Our building is fully accessible, and our flexible space can be adapted to suit your needs. We are equipped with high-speed wifi, video conferencing and AV facilities. Our in-house technician will be on hand to provide support from planning to delivery. Discounted rates are available for charities and non-profits. Please get in touch to discuss.

All income generated by the hire of our spaces directly supports our artistic programme and community engagement activity, helping esea contemporary remain a free and open space for cross-cultural exchange in Manchester and beyond.

esea Studio

Situated on our lower ground floor, the esea Studio is a purpose-built space perfect for workshops, talks, seminars, and a variety of other private functions. It is equipped with projector and speakers in situ. The space is fully flexible with a removable partition wall that can be pulled across for breakout sessions or added privacy in meetings.

Communal Project Space

With its convenient street access and generous windows, the Communal Project Space is an ideal option for pop-up events and activities. This versatile space is available for a limited duration, serving as an intermediary venue between our exhibitions and public programmes.
